Interactive building blocks

The smart canvas in Google Docs makes it simple to pull important information directly into your document using @-mentions. By expanding the “@” menu, Google makes it easier to insert additional building blocks of any doc, like templates, key people, and places. Hence, it can help you work faster.

New templates save time and energy

With the introduction of new templates, you now save your time and focus on getting the job done.

  • The email draft template will help you collaborate with your team to draft an email that will be sent out broadly.
  • The meeting notes template will automatically import into a Google Doc, the relevant information from a Calendar meeting invite including attendees. Hence, this will eliminate the manual work and channel your focus on other important works.

 New smart chips

  • You can preview a Google Maps link directly in Docs with the new Maps smart chip.
  • By adding people chips to Sheets, you can quickly view helpful information of your fellow collaborators, like location, job title, contact info, etc.

Hence, these clickable objections that pull relevant information, help you build context and richer documents.
