Accenture expands partnership with Salesforce’s Vlocity for Industry cloud solutions

Accenture, the global management consulting and professional services company, recently made an announcement to expand its strategic partnership with the Vlocity Inc., a leading provider of omnichannel and industry specific mobile and cloud solutions on Salesforce Customer Success Platform.

The partnership will include a coordinated approach to deliver, enable, integrate and market industry-specific cloud applications to the organizations in customer-centric industries including insurance, media and communications, health insurance, and the public sector.

Vlocity Inc. was recently recognized among Top 100 Cloud Company in 2017 and is one of the leading independent software vendor (ISV) of Salesforce. Vlocity industry cloud apps are built on Salesforce to leverage the omnichannel capabilities of Salesforce Customer Platform that helps companies to accomplish faster business agility and time to value from cloud across traditional and digital channels.

The expanded partnership enhances Accenture’s market-leading cloud technology abilities and industry expertise with industry cloud software solutions of Vlocity. On the other hand, the Vlocity customers get access to the Accenture Global Delivery Network.

Accenture introduced over 20 new solutions with its first in the industry strategic partnership with Salesforce, and over 11,000 Salesforce-skilled professionals are the employees of Accenture.

The group chief executive of Accenture’s Communication, Media and Technology operating group, Bob Sell will now serve on the Vlocity Board of Directors to further align the partnership strategies.
