Netmagic partners with Nuage Networks to strengthen its NaaS portfolio

Netmagic, an NTT Communications Company, announced partnership with Nokia’s Nuage Networks, to strengthen its Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) portfolio which is based on its novel Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solution.

Nuage Networks delivers scalable and programmable SDN solutions, and Virtualized Network Services (VNS) within datacenter and to wide area network (WAN).

As a part of this alliance, Netmagic will deploy VNS solution of Nuage within its datacenters in India. It will enable Netmagic to provide advanced security services and to offer enterprises better agility and flexibility through automated routing of traffic from branch offices to the internet, whereby the need to have expensive multi-protocol label switching line will be removed.

Using SD-WAN technology, enterprises can connect their customers to applications through all kind of networks, like wireless, wireline or public internet, even if the applications are hosted in datacenter or on public cloud.

The new solution will provide advanced security, optimize the network traffic, help enterprises to maximize the cloud advantages, and reduce the costs associated with bandwidth.

Additionally, Netmagic SD-WAN solution will also address the existing networking challenges of enterprises.

The VNS solution of Nuage will be deployed in Netmagic datacenters in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai.
