Zoholics 2024

This week, Zoho Corporation hosted its annual Zoholics 2024 conference in Austin, Texas, showcasing a series of significant product announcements. The event highlighted new developments in collaboration tools, CRM, security, and developer platforms.

Zoho introduced advanced artificial intelligence (AI) features to its collaboration suite. Zoho Projects now integrates natural language processing (NLP) via its AI engine, Zia, allowing users to issue everyday voice commands to access contextual information across Zoho applications. Zia also enhances Zoho Notebook with smart summarizations, task management, automatic topic tagging, data analysis, visual chart creation, and calendar integration.

To further improve workflow automation, Zoho launched Blueprint, a visual workflow automation technology, now integrated into Zoho Projects, Zoho WorkDrive, and Zoho Sign. In Zoho Projects, Blueprint streamlines project workflows with templates, enhancing ease of use and scalability. In Zoho WorkDrive, it automates content management across departments, benefiting HR operations. Zoho Sign uses Blueprint to create reusable templates for documents, facilitating efficient signature capture and routing.

Zoho is redefining CRM with its new “CRM for Everyone” platform, designed to address the traditional limitations of CRM systems that focus primarily on sales workflows. This new platform provides each team within a company a dedicated space to contribute and organize information relevant to their roles in client proposal development. It allows teams to customize their CRM views with fields, permissions, and workflow automation tailored to their needs. This ensures comprehensive capture and integration of all team-contributed information into the overall proposal process.

Zoho’s privacy-focused browser, Ulaa, now features machine learning-powered phishing and crypto mining detection to enhance security. The new Directory tool simplifies the management of users, apps, devices, and networks from a single console, allowing IT admins to automate access management and enforce security policies. Additionally, Zoho’s Directory now supports Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) encryption, providing users with enhanced data security by using their encryption keys.

Zoho introduced significant upgrades to its developer tools, including Catalyst by Zoho, a pro-code platform for developing, testing, and launching full-stack applications. Catalyst integrates with the Zoho ecosystem and third-party applications, offering features like automated testing, build capabilities for continuous delivery, and a managed front-end platform compatible with frameworks like React.js, Next.js, and Sveltekit.

Zoho Apptics was also launched to provide developers and management teams with insights into app usage, performance, user engagement, and growth metrics through detailed dashboards and reports, ensuring responsible data sourcing without compromising privacy.

Zoho offers a variety of pricing tiers and plans to accommodate businesses of different sizes and needs. For more information, visit here.
