Microsoft addresses Windows 10 privacy issues with Diagnostic Data Viewer

1 Mins read

Ahead of the Data Privacy Day, Microsoft announced an early preview of a new tool coming with next Windows version – Windows Diagnostic Data Viewer. The Diagnostic Data Viewer will allow more transparency on the diagnostic data that Microsoft collects from users’ Windows devices.

Microsoft had been drawing criticism from Windows 10 users of various countries for collecting some data from their systems, to improve the operating system and take product related decisions.

With this, the users will be able to view and search all diagnostic data in the cloud that’s related specifically to their device. They will also be able to share feedback for the viewer as well.

It is different from Microsoft Privacy Dashboard and can be accessed from the Microsoft Store.

It shows the exact data details that are sent to Microsoft.
