XConnect will work as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Somos. Both companies aim to provide an unmatched portfolio of number administration, routing data, business messaging, identity verification and identity management products to the global telecommunications industry.

As an active participant in the development and support of the STIR/SHAKEN framework in the United States, Somos aims to stop telecommunications fraud via products like TFN Identification to support Caller Name Information (CNAM) on toll-free numbers. Also, RealNumber is addressing the requirement to provide enterprise right-to-use verification and protect trusted business numbers from illegal spoofing and fraud calls.
