Microsoft continues to improve its Office 365 with new apps and features to accelerate digital transformation and enhance collaboration and customer experience. It recently announced the addition of 96 new global markets, that brings its Office 365 to over 246 markets globally, with availability in 44 languages.
The new cloud-powered features improve intelligent services, boost content creation, make file management easier, expand the online toolkit, and provide a lot more functionalities.
The content creation tools include updates to Translator in Word, Tell Me support, and Learning Tools in Word on iPad.
Translator- The Word now supports 60 languages, enabling the users to translate the required text or the entire document, further review and save it as a Word file. It is available for Office insiders on Windows as of now, with support for other platforms coming soon.
“Tell Me” support- With the improved Tell Me support, the commercial subscribers can access Word, Excel, and PPT files across the organization, preview them, and share with colleagues, by simply searching for a file or person in ‘Tell me what you want to do’ box.
Learning Tools- The iPad users of Word now have support of Immersive Reader and Read Aloud, the learning tools that review the content for optimization. These tools recognize and correct the errors while writing, and improve editing accuracy.
Since people work on files on multiple devices, the cloud tools in Office 365 make it easier to access the content from anywhere.
Files On-Demand- With Files On-Demand feature in OneDrive and SharePoint, users can download the ‘Online-only’ files to use, and later switch them back to as they were to free up space. It is available as part of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
3D files– Office 365 users can now open and view 3D files in OneDrive before importing them to Word, Excel or PowerPoint. The new tool helps sharing and organizing the visual and creative impact with 3D objects.
Visio Online- It makes the complex visualization easier by enabling the subscribers to create, edit and share diagrams online.
LinkedIn- The commercial subscribers can view their LinkedIn profile information including rich insights, profile pictures, work history, etc. in Outlook.
MyAnalytics- This tool helps the users in an organization visualize the time they spend with individuals and groups so that they can optimize their time investments.

Microsoft has also added a lot other features including Office 365 gallery, Office Lens multi-page support, and Group insights in Yammer. The SharePoint has been updated, and the Skype reached one billion downloads on Google Play Store.
