Microsoft 365 Business now generally available to SMBs with more business apps

Microsoft has announced the general availability of Microsoft 365 Business, the comprehensive set of business productivity and collaboration tools, with addition of new business applications to provide a single productivity solution to small and medium size businesses.

Microsoft 365 Business comes with Office 365, data protection controls, cyber threat protection, and is available on all iOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices.

The new applications in Microsoft 365 Business and Office 365 Business Premium include Microsoft Connections, Microsoft Listings, Microsoft Invoicing, and the Office 365 Business center. These three above in addition to Microsoft Bookings, Outlook Customer Manager, and MileIQ, whose previews versions Microsoft had released in July this year- are now available in Microsoft 365 Business and Office 365 Business Premium. These apps will help businesses grow and run effectively.

Microsoft Listings- It will help businesses grow by listing their information including name, address, contact, logo, etc. on Facebook, Google, Bing, and Yelp. They can also monitor the views and reviews using it.

Microsoft Connections– Business customers can send professional and marketing emails to notify the existing and new customers about new services, make announcements and send newsletters as well. The referral options that offer discounts can bring more customers.

Outlook Customer Manager– It is a smart manager that gives businesses quick access to emails, meetings, calls, tasks, deals, reminders, and deadlines right next to the inbox. It saves the time spent in managing data and helps grow customer relationships.

Microsoft Invoicing– The new invoicing tool can generate professional estimates and invoices. It also helps businesses track the pending and partial payments, get online payments faster, and set the discounts and sales tax.

Bookings– Bookings help customers select the time slot as per their needs using simple-to-set booking webpage, which are further added to the appointments in the calendars of staff.

MileIQ– The MileIQ includes intelligent features that track the mileage of personal or business trips through automatic drive detection and mileage logging, and features the analytics data.

Office 365 Business center– It works like a dashboard for the apps and combines the significant tools like Microsoft Connections, Microsoft Listings, Microsoft Invoicing, and Bookings.

Recently, Microsoft had released the roadmap for bringing ‘Skype for Business’ capabilities to ‘Microsoft Teams’, and had said that Microsoft Teams will be the primary collaboration and communication tool in Office 365.

The Bookings and Outlook Customer Manager are generally available worldwide, while the rest of the new applications are currently available in US, UK, and Canada.
