Indian state-owned telco BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) is teaming up with Unlimit, a Reliance Group company that provides internet of things (IoT) services.
The aim of partnership is to provide IoT solutions to the enterprises in India.
How will BSNL partnership benefit Unlimit?
Reliance Group founded Unlimit as an independent unit in 2016 to support and develop IoT for Indian market and accelerate digital transformation initiatives in the country.
BSNL has an established wireless network footprint PAN-India (Presence Across Nation) in the country. As a part of the partnership, Unlimit will leverage BSNL’s seamless presence in India to offer its solutions to enterprises in several industries.
These solutions will include device management, managed connectivity services, application software and advanced analytics.

How will Unlimit partnership help BSNL?
Leveraging the partnership, BSNL will be able to go beyond wireless networks in the country to cement its footprint in the IoT market. The telco aims to help enterprises speed up their digital transformation processes by integrating its PAN-India coverage, last mile network access, and bandwidth with Unlimit’s IoT services.
